Sizing Chart

We give you the option of being as detailed or unspecific as you would like with our blazer sizing system. Our business principle is such that we'd like to offer our customers the ability to customize as much or as little about the end product as they wish, and that also includes the size. Our sizing system enables you to either input your suit size, or opt for a "generic" size such as S, M, L, etc. Additionally, you can even measure yourself if you'd like and deviate within those sizing parameters. For example, if you think our L will fit you fine, except for the sleeve lengths, you can adjust the sleeves to your desired length. So, measure yourself as much or as little as you'd like. Also, in the tradition of "Short, Regular, and Long" suit sizes (for example, 41L where "L" indicates that it is a Long fit), we're offering the same sizing availability.

Our sizing chart outlines exactly what our standard sizing options are. They are listed in either "Generic" or "Suit Sizes." Suit size simply refers to your chest measurement. You should measure your chest if you do not know your suit size offhand. See our measuring guide for help.

We are unable to offer size 39 and 43 at this point. For those of you are a 39 or 43, we recommend that you input your next largest size.

Origin of the Species

Welcome to the official weblog of DressMonkey, chronicling the adventures of two young ex-corporate monkeys living in China and starting a men's custom clothing company from scratch. We’re changing the idea of “brand” by putting the power of creating a final product in the hands of our customers. We’re also changing the idea of “fashion” by offering an inexpensive, no-frills alternative to the label-conscious circus world in which we are forced to shop for clothes. Our flagship product is the man’s blazer, available this coming fall season. Join us as we trade in our tees and hoodies of college for the sweet seersucker of manhood. Established 2006 in Shanghai.
