MMM3: In FedEx We Trust

One of the many worst case scenarios risking a DressMonkey MMM3 success
We finished! Well, at least I'm finished with DressMonkey's last quality test run, MMM3: The Final Countdown, Jeff on the other hand now has to deal with re-shipping them and then being showered with praise/death threats from (hopefully) satisfied customers. They blazers are in the mail, FedEx to be exact and I am praying to Jah that we don't encounter any importing problems. You can research, analyze, flowchart, and discuss something to death but in order to see something really through you have to try it, and thats what we aimed to do from the beginning with MMM3. Sorry for the vague wording but we're now riding high considering we've accomplished the impossible thus far, completing a real production run in China.
From a production standpoint, MMM3 really taught me about dealings with Chinese factories and quality control. We refined our order process further, and basically proved to ourselves and hopefully our customers that our factory can deliver the kind of quality and efficiency that we've been boasting about in this blog.
Enough of the corporate speak, bring on the champagne and the caviar! Nope...not yet (unless Wal-Mart sells bargain catfish caviar and champagne is bathtub brewed), now comes the hard part of this business, but actually the part that I really enjoy: designing and building our retail site. I am going to Germany this week for my first German Christmas, but what was supposed to be a trip bumming around the Bodensee and drinking good, cheap beer will now be overshadowed with the daunting task of writing functional requirements.
So, I apologize to our tens of readers who checked every waking hour for a new post over the last few weeks, we've been busy making blazers, lots of them. To the recipients: thanks, and we hope you enjoy them. To the slackers, you still have a chance to order before our retail site is up.
