Welcome to the DressMonkey.com blog, chronicling the feats and failures of two former office monkeys starting a men's custom clothing company from scratch.
Love the Bamboo fabric. I've seen several jackets made with this but, velvet in April? I won't be thinking about this fabric till at least October. Any chance you could offer a twill or some other kind of warm weather option?
We've got a nice cotton twill fabric still available as well as blue seersucker and a variety of different color linens. All would no doubt pair nicely with your summer wardrobe. Thanks for your interest in DressMonkey!
The velvet in April/May are for those in SD, OC, LA that prefer bringing their ladies to the beach late at night, when it can be a little chilly.
DressMonkey is a new concept in the world of fashion: a luxury brand that doesn’t cost a fortune because it cuts out all the hype. We aim to appeal to that inner voice that says, “I’m different” even if no one is paying attention. It’s like going to work or to school with no underwear: you feel different even though you look the same; things seem funnier because you know something that everyone else doesn’t.
